Way to go on your 8 minute mile! I'm positive I have never done the like.

I am a person who can create a running analogy for any occasion. That said, here's something running taught me: I used to think that people who could run really fast or for a long time had just trained so much that they weren't really bothered by the speed or distance, but I've learned that's not 100% true. While certainly training helps, the most successful runners have increased their ability to tolerate discomfort. True for life, I say. You'll do great at the race AND at work.

awesome!!!! i am inspired! my quickest mile is 12 mins so 8 mins sounds spectacular!!!
